Requirements
The Role
Shape Pulse’s architecture across UI, APIs, services, data, infrastructure, and operational tooling.
Build for scale and reliability, solving complex challenges across permissions, workflows, scheduling, performance, and multi-tenancy.
Lead technical excellence through architecture, engineering standards, observability, AI-assisted development, and mentoring.
Collaborate across teams to make pragmatic technical decisions, improve production systems, and deliver great customer experiences.
Responsibilities
Strong TypeScript/Node.js experience building and operating production systems.
Strong Postgres expertise, including data modelling, migrations, indexing, RLS, transactions, and performance.
Experienced with APIs and modern web development, including Fastify, React, and Next.js.
Strong architectural and system design skills, with knowledge of scalable and maintainable patterns.
A technical leader and mentor who improves engineering standards and developer experience.
Product-minded and AI-savvy, with experience in observability, cloud infrastructure, and AI-assisted development.
