Senior Python Developer
Our client is an International FinTech, located centrally in Bangkok, with an established trading system and now looking to actively scale up operations.
The role:
Reporting to the Head of Development, you will directly work on further development of, and improvements, to the the company’s algorithmic trading platform, using Python with Pandas and NumPy to efficiently gather and speedily process large amounts of data.
About you:
Preferably graduated with a degree in Computer Sciences, Mathematics or Statistics
At least 5 years experience with strong skills doing Python development work
Solid experience with Pandas is required, and experience with NumPy is strongly preferred
Good experience with modern development tools and process including code management and deployment into public cloud (GCP or AWS/Azure), microservices (using Docker containers).
Experience with code testing (unit testing as a minimum), and preferably in a TDD
Preferably based in Bangkok / Thailand with the ability to do in-person meetings in Bangkok from time-to-time
Good English skills and can work with a foreign team a Western cultural approach to development
The role will be very interesting for those who like backend-intensive work; experience with data analytics and/or integration work will be advantage.
