Our client is a modern International Banking software vendor, now expanding their operations into Thailand. They are looking for a Country Manager, or a Senior Sales / Sales Manager with potential to grow, and help them take advantage of a high level of local interest in their software systems
Sales Manager / Country Manager
The role:
As a highly driven and responsible individual, your primary focus will be managing business opportunities, selling at all levels to close deals and oversee delivery including:
- Manage all aspects of the company's newly expanding operation in country
- Collaborate with leadership to strategize how best to grow the business
- Lead the local organization to develop, implement and achieve its mission, vision and goals and best serve customers
- Understand the overall market including competitors’ strengths and weaknesses, economic trends, etc. and know how to sell against them
- Lead partnership development, including external and government relationships for activities in Thailand
- Build and maintain a high-performance culture through effective performance management, communication and coaching of the team
- Prepare monthly reports to detail significant operational activities, profit, and loss, cash flow, balance sheet etc.
About you:
- Bachelor's degree in business (MBA / Masters preferred)
- At least 5 years' experience in Sales / Management with a Banking software vendor or working in a similar capacity
- Excellent sales and negotiation skills, and able to work effectively under pressure
- Excellent interpersonal and people management skills
- Analytical thinker with strong planning skills and problem solving skills
- Very well well organized and driven by success
- Thai national (only) with a good command of English
